Colony 19

Submitted by will on Sun, 28/06/2020 - 05:16

Colony 19 was caught on the Barton Fields allotments during May 2020. The swarm was on a bush, but then fell onto the ground. I collected them in a box. The swarm was small but well organised. I suspect that it is a tiny prime swarm. The location is within 5 minutes walk of the feral colony in Fettiplace road.

I put it into the gabled hive in my out-apiary
